Trace Images through Sure Cuts A Lot | Laser Engraving, Vinyl Cutter, UV Printer - GCC

GCC, a global forefront equipment-manufacturing provider in the visual communication industry, would like to introduce the useful “trace image” function of Sure Cuts A Lot that allows you to convert any image into a cutting file in a blink of an eye! "Sure Cuts A Lot", a handy software program that helps you to cut your favorite shapes with your GCC cutting plotters, works on both Mac and Windows operating systems. To trace your image, you first need to press the “Trace Image” button on the toolbar to import the image for cutting. Sure Cuts A Lot accepts most image files (.bmp, .jpg, .gif, .png). Then you choose one tracing mode that works the best for you from the three modes below:

• Monochrome - will trace as if the image is a black and white image.

  Contrast: this value will determine the parts of the image to be traced. When you adjust the contrast value, the preview will show a black and white image indicating the parts of the image to be traced. To see the trace result, click the “Update Preview” button.

  

• Color layers - will segment the image into the specified number of colors.

  Max Colors: the maximum number of colors to segment the image in to. You can turn off colors by ticking the color boxes. To see trace result, click the “Update Preview” button.

  

• Single Color - choose a specific color from the image to trace. To choose a color, click the color button, and then click on the preview image.
